Sickbay Tracker (“Sickbay”) is an iOS app built and operated by Barder Works LLC (“Barder Works”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Sickbay handles your information when you use the app and visit its web pages.

1. Who we are

2. What Sickbay Tracker does

Sickbay Tracker helps you log illness details over time — including symptoms, temperatures, medications, and personal notes — and view them as a clear timeline.

Sickbay is designed to be personal and local-first. It is not a social network, advertising platform, or data broker.

3. Information stored and accessed in the app

Sickbay is intentionally minimal. Depending on which features you use, the app may access or store the following:

• Health information you enter (stored locally). Log entries you create — such as symptoms, temperatures, medication names, timestamps, and notes — are stored on your device. Sickbay does not upload your health logs to our servers.
• Notifications (optional). If you enable reminders, iOS may request permission to send notifications. Reminder data and content are generated and stored on your device.
• Calendar access (optional). If you enable calendar-related features, iOS may request permission to access your calendar. Sickbay uses this access only to support features you explicitly enable. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Information we do not collect

As of the date above, Sickbay Tracker does not:

• Require account creation.
• Collect your name, email address, or contact list inside the app.
• Upload your health logs to our servers.
• Sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
• Use cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers.

5. Crash reports & diagnostics

Sickbay may rely on Apple-provided diagnostic tools to help improve app stability and performance.

Any crash information provided through Apple does not include the contents of your health logs.

6. How we use information

We use limited technical information only to:

• Provide Sickbay’s core logging and timeline features.
• Enable optional features you choose (such as reminders or calendar views).
• Maintain app stability and security.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

7. Data retention

Your logs remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Sickbay does not maintain a cloud database of your health records.

8. Your choices & controls

• Notifications. You can enable or disable reminders at any time in iOS Settings.
• Calendar access. You can change Sickbay’s access to your calendar at any time in iOS Settings.
• Deleting the app. Uninstalling Sickbay removes the app and any locally stored data from your device.

9. Children’s privacy

Sickbay Tracker is not designed as a children’s app and does not include account registration, chat, or social features. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact hello@barderworks.co.

10. International users

Sickbay Tracker is built and operated from the United States. Any limited diagnostic data processed through Apple may be handled in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where Apple operates.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be noted within the app.
